Innocent is the Director of business development Brian Tracy Nigeria, a Brian Tracy Global franchise duly licensed to First Incorporated consulting Nigeria Limited. A trained economist with a wealth of experience in banking and the academia, Innocent is very interested in the nexus between leadership and economic development. A very deliberate individual with a bent for professionalism, Innocent brings a wealth of experience in business development and has over the last decade acquired competence in project initiation and execution. He is particularly adept at helping companies and individuals recognize opportunities and crafting strategies on realizing such opportunities.
With almost 2 decades of cognate experience in finance, Innocent has been involved in creating big ticket transactions that has impacted the Nigeria economy positively. His interest in economic development and poverty eradication propelled him to partner in the establishment of Alpha Kapital Limited, a Micro Finance Bank located in Abuja, the capital City of Nigeria. In the last 6 years he has been an adviser to the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) while serving on their finance board. He is also currently serving as a director on the board of Veritas
Travel Limited a company owned by the CBCN. Innocent was also an Adjunct Professor of Economics in the Fashion Institute of Technology, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) System.
Innocent holds a B.sc (Hons) in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria and an MA (Hons) in Economics from Fordham University in New York. He is a chartered member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and a member of the Nigerian Economic Society. Innocent was also a research associate in the Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery (a department under the United Nations Development Programme), where he was involved in the research work that led to the publication of the ground breaking study of understanding post conflict societies titled “Post-Conflict Economic Recovery- Enabling Local Ingenuity” for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP-BCPR).
Married with two wonderful children, Innocent is an avid reader who also count as part of his hobbies interest in movies, football, and car racing (Formula One).He is a volunteer worker in church and a supporter of the Nigerian Christian Widows Organization.
